CO₂ transparency in intralogistics—effortlessly, directly from factory planning.
Calculating CO₂ emissions in intralogistics often sounds more complicated than it needs to be.
We are currently working on a pragmatic method for calculating CO₂ emissions from conveyor systems—without any additional data collection effort.
What we aim to achieve:
✅ Make CO₂ quantities transparent for each conveying system and process
✅ Quantify savings potential through alternative drives or more energy-efficient technology
✅ Create a sound basis for decision-making füreplacing existing transport equipment
How it works:
The basis can be data from planning software such as visTABLE or Plant Simulation, or even manually recorded transport equipment along with its transport effort over a specific period of time.
Supplemented with the technical data of the industrial truck—for example, from a data sheet—emissions can be calculated.
The result: CO₂ transparency at the push of a button.
With an additional analysis function, different scenarios can be quickly compared—for example, when replacing individual transport vehicles or switching to alternative fuels.
You could view it as a small research project. We see it as one thing above all else: a practical tool for making sustainable decisions in factory planning.
